At Bryngwyn Hall on the Welsh borders, former debutante Lady Linlithgow hosts a social etiquette course for a group of young ladies eager to gain poise, confidence and sophistication. In Caerleon, tour guide Linda Bailey tries her hand at historical interpretation, turning gladiator for a day in a bid to expand her repertoire. And at Hammet House, a reviewer comes to call after the luxury retreat loses one chef and gains a new one.
