A Place to Call Home - All Seasons

Season 1
It's 1953 and the horrors of World War II are still raw and alive in many memories. Graceful yet enigmatic nurse Sarah Adams returns to Australia from London to care for her estranged mother.

Season 2
Sarah and Anna begin their respective trial periods in their new homes. Jack is furious at Carolyn for having kept secret the fact they have a daughter and vows to uncover her identity. Olivia is increasingly disturbed by James' brutal hospital treatment and Elizabeth announces a decision that stuns everyone.

Season 3
As Australia faces internal and external threats to its way of life so too do the people of Inverness, and previous alliances and relationships are tested.

Season 4
Season 4 will focus on the relationships between the characters as affected by two contrasting social issues in 1954. The first is the conservative wave of fear generated by the "Reds under the beds" scare surrounding The Petrov Affair. The second, the wave of liberal change that opened up new social and moral choices for Australians at the time.

Season 5
Season five will time jump to 1958, where four years have passed since we left Sarah and the Bligh family. Those four years have seen ever increasing changes in Australian society.
The world of wealth and privilege is being eroded, moral values are fraying and a new young generation is rising, full of disaffection with the world of their elders. To them the War is a matter of the dead past, bringing conflict with those who suffered its pain and deprivation.
Economic change and the devious actions of unseen enemies threaten Ash Park. While friends become bitter rivals and former enemies become unlikely allies. And in the midst of the turmoil, love becomes the only sure place anyone can call home.

Season 6
As the 1950s draw to a close in Inverness, the inhabitants of Ash Park each find a way to confront their fears and heal the damage within to finally reach their place to call home.
For some, the challenge is to overcome the mental scarring from their war time experiences, for others, the damage has been done to them by fate, family, friends or foes.
Hearts are on the line as courageous acts of transformation, love, sacrifice and kindness towards one another lead to an evolution to a better version of themselves. Outcomes almost impossible to fathom at the point their journeys began.
