In Portugal, couple Stretch and Rachel begin to renovate a run-down, pest-infested property into a rustic luxury holiday let. In France, couple David and Lane open an antiques and interiors emporium. Former private detective Rachel joins forces with her brother in Spain to offer accommodation for the riders at his ranch.

Episode 2
Stretch and Rachel have more build problems and money woes at their guesthouse in Portugal and David and Lane are hoping a new cologne will bring more customers into their antiques and interiors shop in France. Rachel and her brother have a big decision to make in order to save their ranch in Spain.

Episode 3
Rachel and her brother finally open their ranch in Spain for paying guests and lack of footfall at David and Lane's shop in France causes them to take drastic action. Stretch and Rachel complete the renovation on their Portuguese guesthouse.

Episode 4
In Tuscany, IT workers Gill and Robin try to turn an old cantina into a rural hillside retreat. Stretch and Rachel's guesthouse in Portugal finally opens for business. In France, the relocating of David and Lane's business doesn't quite go to plan. Meanwhile, entrepreneur Stacey sets her sights on opening a yoga studio.

Episode 5
In France, David and Lane find out if they have made the right move relocating their shop. Stacey calls in the cavalry to complete her yoga studio, while, in Portugal, Stretch and Rachel struggle to cope as the busy summer season kicks in at their guesthouse. Meanwhile, Gill and Robin's Tuscan hillside retreat is finally complete.

Episode 6
On Spain's Costa Blanca, Newcastle couple Abi and Darren plan a disco revolution, while in France, juggling a business and renovations proves too much for Andrew and Richard. At Simon and Natasha's diving business in Marbella, they hand over the ropes to customers Gordon and Shona, who are ready to start a new chapter themselves.

Episode 7
Restaurateurs Andrew and Richard go on a publicity push in France and on the Costa Blanca, Abi and Darren are hit by technical issues at their 'boogie wonderland'. Glasgow couple Gordon and Shona finally take the reins of a diving business in Marbella.

Episode 8
In France, new plans and schemes keep restaurateurs Andrew and Richard on their toes and there are costly complications at Gordon and Shona's dive centre in Marbella. Best friends Janey and Sharon swap life in Blighty for a French adventure in Corrèze.

Episode 9
In France, renovation plans give restaurateurs Andrew and Richard sleepless nights, while poor weather hits B&B hosts Janey and Sharon, who are hoping to launch a new cookery school in Corrèze. In Spain, things get too quiet at Abi and Darren's silent disco on the Costa Blanca, and Gordon and Shona's Marbella dream hangs in the balance.

Episode 10
The season winds down for the Brits abroad, but they're gearing up for the biggest days of their lives. It's hoped that Abi and Darren's wedding in Spain and Andrew and Richard's wedding event in France will go off without a hitch. Friends Janey and Sharon also have plenty to celebrate at their B&B - but success comes at a cost.

Episode 11
Jen and Nick from Essex set up a new charity for retired sports horses in France, while Brian and Paula give French life a second shot. Driven by his dream of living by the beach, coffee bar owner James brings his British business idea to Spain.

Episode 12
Relocating in peak season costs coffee bar owner James time and money in Spain. In France, Jen and Nick dig deep to keep their horse charity going. Opening day comes round fast for Brian and Paula at their new French restaurant. Will they be ready?

Our enterprising expats open for business but power cuts strike Brian and Paula's new French restaurant, illness hits Jen and Nick's horse charity, and delivery delays and flooding put back the launch of James's coffee bar in Spain.

Episode 14
Host Donna fears that she cannot deliver the luxury stays she has promised in Italy. There is a housing emergency at Brian and Paula's French restaurant. In France, Paul and Melissa are put through their paces restoring a once-prestigious hotel.

In Italy, can holiday host Donna keep up as reservations fly in? In France, B&B owners Paul and Melissa have to adapt their accommodation, and Brian and Paula fear that unseasonable weather will put a dampener on their restaurant's big summer event.

In France, neighbours Aggi and Camille join forces to turn around a derelict restaurant's fortunes. The new series concludes. After a long renovation, novice hosts Tom and Terry have a trial run for their vegan B&B in Spain, while test guests are also expected at Summer and Ashley's place in Italy. A busy summer season comes to a close for Paul and Fiona's villa in France. And in Portugal, dreamers Louise and Shay find out if they can make it all a reality.

The Ministry of Time
The Ministry of Time, a newly established government department, is gathering ‘expats' from across history in an experiment to test the viability of time-travel. Commander Graham Gore (an officer on Sir John Franklin's doomed 1845 Arctic expedition) is one such figure rescued from certain death – alongside an army captain from the fields of the Somme, a plague victim from the 1600s, a widow from revolutionary France, and a soldier from the seventeenth century.
The expats are placed with 21st century liaisons, known as 'bridges', in unlikely flatshares. Gore has to learn about contemporary life from scratch: from air travel to industrial warfare, from feminism to Spotify, from cinema to indoor plumbing; and he must negotiate cohabiting with the ambitious modern woman who works as his bridge. After an awkward beginning, the pair start to find pleasure and comfort in each other's company, developing a relationship that is simultaneously tender, intense and profoundly unprofessional; and the expats, adrift in a new era, form friendships that ground and support them in the lonely 21st century, where they have outlived everyone they ever knew and loved.
When a deeper conspiracy at the Ministry begins to reveal itself, the bridge must reckon with what she does next. Will she save or sacrifice the exiled misfits she has come to care for so deeply?
