Unusual Suspects
Sheriff Jamey Noel has devised an unprecedented program to root out crime and corruption in the Clark County Jail. His plan is to send seven civilian volunteers into jail as undercover inmates. The participants all have unique motivations for joining the program, and have been given cover stories, training on the rules of inmate culture, and instructions on how to stay safe. Now they just have to convince the inmates and the officers that they are real inmates.

First Timers
Sheriff Jamey Noel's program is underway. Zac, a Marine, Tami, a police officer, Robert, a teacher, and Barbra, a stay-at-home mom, are the first participants in. Will they make it through the first 24 hours inside?

Cell Shock
Maryum, the eldest daughter of boxer Muhammad Ali, joins the program and fits into F-pod effortlessly; the inmates grow suspicious of Robert; a mistake places Zac in peril; Barbra questions her commitment to the experiment.

Fight Face
Isaiah and Robert worry that their covers may be blown; Capt. Maples follows through with consequences after Robert makes a risky move; Zac hunts for illegal drug use in C-pod; Tami clashes with another inmate.

Friends Without Benefits
An unexpected call to court tests Zac's strength as an inmate; Barbra abandons a friendship with Tami in order to survive; a series of catastrophic mistakes endangers Jeff.

Full Inmate
As the participants approach the midway point, tension and anger grow among the women in F-Pod, while one of the men finds himself in imminent danger from the inmates in C-Pod.

Pod Drama
Inmate Ricky attacks Jeff, jeopardizing the program; Zac and Isaiah move from the familiar confines of C-Pod to the more violent D-Pod; Barbra feels betrayed by her F-Pod bunkmates; Robert learns that he will return to general population.

Shakedown
The participants cross the halfway point of the experiment; the sheriff orders a raid due to increased tensions and drug activity in D-pod; the residents of F-pod worry about a contagious rash.

Alone for the Holidays
Thanksgiving presents new opportunities and challenges for the six remaining participants, and one of them is pushed to a breaking point.

Institutionalized
As the participants near the end of their time in jail, tension in F-Pod pushes one woman over the edge and compromises the program, while both men in D-Pod struggle to avoid criminal activity that may have serious consequences

11th Hour
As pressure builds in each of the jail's pods, the five remaining participants in the program try to finish up their final few days inside.

Exodus
Three participants remain in Clark County Jail. One of the women in F-Pod is released, leaving Tami on the verge of a meltdown. Meanwhile in D-Pod, with one pod boss removed and another claiming power, there is a constant threat of violence.

Aftermath
All seven participants meet for the first time to discuss their experience inside. Tempers flare when the women relive a contentious moment while in the jail. Robert gets a taste of Tami's wrath when confronted about not taking the program seriously.

Colbert is best known for his work as a television host, writer, actor, and producer, and lest known for his charity work teaching English as a second language on Tunisian date farms. Before joining the CBS family -- and being officially adopted by network president Les Moonves -- Colbert helmed The Colbert Report, which aired nearly 1,500 episodes and required Stephen to wear nearly 1,500 different neckties. The program received two Peabody Awards, two Grammy Awards, and several unwelcome shoulder massages. It won two Emmys for Outstanding Variety Series in 2013 and 2014, both of which appear to have been lost in the move. Colbert is pronounced koʊlˈbɛər, according to Wikipedia. His understudy is William Cavanaugh, who will be hosting The Late Show approximately one-third of the time. Good luck, Bill!

Cops
COPS follows police officers, constables, and sheriff's deputies during patrols and various police activities by embedding camera crews with their units. The show's formula adheres to a classic cinéma vérité ethos. With no narration or scripted dialog, it depends entirely on the commentary of the officers and on the actions of the people with whom they come into contact.

Saint-Pierre
After Royal Newfoundland Constabulary Inspector Donny "Fitz" Fitzpatrick digs too deeply into a local politician's nefarious activity, he is exiled to work in Saint-Pierre et Miquelon (the French Territory nestled in the Atlantic Ocean just off the coast of Newfoundland). Fitz's arrival disrupts the life of Deputy Chief Geneviève "Arch" Archambault, a Parisian transplant who is in Saint-Pierre for her own intriguing reasons.
As if by fate, these two seasoned officers — with very different policing skills and approaches — are forced together to solve unique and exciting crimes. Although the islands seem like a quaint tourist destination, the idyllic façade conceals the worst kind of criminal activity which tend to wash up on its beautiful shores. At first at odds and suspicious of each other, Arch and Fitz soon discover that they are better together... a veritable crime-fighting force.
