Loyle Carner
Loyle Carner introduces his 6 Music Festival performance at Victoria Warehouse, Manchester. Acclaimed rapper Loyle Carner released his debut album, Yesterday's Gone, in 2017. This was also the year he first performed at the 6 Music Festival in Glasgow. He now returns as a headliner with a very special set, showcasing his music in a new way, and performs in collaboration with the AMC Gospel Choir. Arlo Parks introduces her 6 Music Festival performance at Victoria Warehouse, Manchester. Arlo Parks was first played on the radio at the age of just 16, when she uploaded her very first demos to BBC Music Introducing. At the early stages, her music was already garnering a lot of excitement, but she was catapulted into the spotlight with the release of her debut album Collapsed in Sunbeams, which won the Mercury Prize in 2021. In January 2023, she announced that her second album will be released in May and her headline performance at 6 Music Festival will be the world premiere of her new music, featuring special guests.
