Rachael finds her way to "The Morning Ray Cafe" for breakfast. A lunch tip from a local sends her to Windy Ridge. For an after-noon snack Rachael heads over to Robert Redford's restaurant Zoom. After working up an appetite, she heads to dinner at the Butcher's Chophouse and Bar.

Grand Canyon, AZ
Rachael visits one of the seven natural wonders of the world, the Grand Canyon. She fuels up on a hearty breakfast at El Tovar. Then grabs some healthy snacks at Happy Trails. Dinners at local fave Canyon Star and dessert at The Bright Angel Lodge.

Durham, NC
Rachael hits a home run when she visits Durham, NC. Batting first is Elmo's Diner. Next she goes shopping in Chapel Hill, and moseys over to Mama Dip's. Then, she takes in an afternoon baseball game where the Durham Bulls take on Syracuse SkyChefs. Voted top BBQ in the Triangle area, The Barbecue Joint wins another rave review from Rachael.

Las Vegas, NV
It's a high stakes gamble when Rachael tries to take on Vegas on $40 a Day. She starts her morning off with the Bellagio breakfast buffet. Next she decides to lunch at Mr. Lucky's 24/7. After some gambling she heads off to the Hookah Lounge. Rachael takes advantage of the late-night supper scene by visiting a hip local hangout called Firefly on Paradise.

Bermuda
Rachael visits the beautiful island of Bermuda. Rachael gets busy with a scooter ride around town. She heads to Aggie's for breakfast in one of the oldest homes on the island. Next she strolls over to a place she has visited before on her travels here, Frescos. After an afternoon of exploring the amazing coral reefs, Rachael swaggers in to the Swizzle Inn for an exotic Rum Swizzle drink. To top off the day, Rachael visits one of the oldest pubs on the island, Hog Penny.

Sun Valley, ID
She starts off her day with a hearty breakfast at The Kneadery. After an afternoon of shopping, Rachael finds her way to the restaurant Grumpy's. Next up, at the Sun Valley Lodge Rachael soaks up the history of the lodge over a hot buttered rum at The Duchin Room.

Chattanooga, TN
All aboard! Rachael pulls in to Chattanooga, Tennessee for some old fashion southern cooking with a modern flair. From the Waffle of Insane Greatness to rich chocolates that will drive you crazy, Rachael samples some of the best tastes of Chattanooga for under $40 a day!

Hilton Head, SC
Rachael hits a budgetary hole in one on the beautiful golf island of Hilton Head, SC. She comes in way under par with her blackberry French toast for breakfast, jerked Carribean grouper for lunch, a sunset martini. And the Can't Decide Platter" for dinner.

Asheville, NC
Rachael visits Asheville, NC but is this cool mountain town too hot for her budget to handle? This sweet historic city serves up southern classics with a gourmet twist, like sweet potato pancakes and pan fried mountain trout with green tomato blackberry sauce and squash casserole.

Telluride, CO
Rachael's hoping to strike culinary gold with her $40 in the old mining town of Telluride, CO. Rachael has a delicious Southwest Benedict with her free java. After learning some skiing basics, Rachael goes to the Crunchy Porcupine for lunch. While sightseeing, Rachael sees an ice cream shop called The Sweet Life. As the day draws to a close, Rachael goes to Wildflour Cooking Company for dinner.

Newport, RI
Rachael's setting sail for some bargains in Newport, Rhode Island. With everything from crepes to Portuguese kale soup and pad Thai, this is a seaside city with a global flair. Rachael samples it all for just $40 a Day!

Martha's Vineyard
Rachael explores this cozy island, fishing for the Vineyard's tastiest deal. Beer-battered Soft Shell Crab and Lobster Quesadilla's are all on the menu. Rachael even samples wine made right here on Martha's Vineyard's. And she does it all for under $40 a Day.

Hamptons, NY
Join Rachael Ray as she visits the hip Long Island getaway - the Hamptons. From shopping to sake, Rachael samples it all in this legendary hideaway for the rich and famous. Amandaland

Not even a woman as certain of her parenting as Amanda can deal with these nightmares alone.
Then there's Amanda's mother Felicity who is constantly around, and completely in denial that she is, in fact, lonely. Theirs is a slightly unhealthy co-dependent relationship based on backhanded compliments and veiled snipes about her new home.
After a brief spell of freedom, Anne is sucked back into being Amanda's minion to help her navigate the social scene with the other parents at the children's new school. Thank God for Anne.
