Episode 3
Eleven-year-old Kofi is rushed into Resus critically injured after being hit by a van, while a senior consultant is tested to the limit when three trauma patients arrive.

Episode 4
Accident and Emergency at King's College is filled with injured Saturday night drunks. On an average weekend over half the cases at A&E are alcohol-related.

This edition focuses on accidents, featuring one man who fell through a window while trying to clean it and another who had a nasty accident while cutting vegetables.

Episode 11
Doctors Firaz and André operate on 78-year-old Reginald, who needs surgery on a life-threatening gut condition. Other patients include Richard, who twisted his knee moon-walking in a club.

Episode 12
A&E fills up with patients, including 88-year-old Omar, who faces a dangerous stomach operation. The episode also meets the support staff who share the traumas and pressures of A&E.

Episode 13
The A&E staff talk about cases where they find it difficult to control their emotions; and German doctor Roman discusses the cultural differences between practising in Germany and the UK.

Episode 14
The final episode of the series reveals how the A&E team at King's College Hospital deal with a population that is becoming more and more psychologically fragile.

Before joining the CBS family -- and being officially adopted by network president Les Moonves -- Colbert helmed The Colbert Report, which aired nearly 1,500 episodes and required Stephen to wear nearly 1,500 different neckties. The program received two Peabody Awards, two Grammy Awards, and several unwelcome shoulder massages. It won two Emmys for Outstanding Variety Series in 2013 and 2014, both of which appear to have been lost in the move. Colbert is pronounced koʊlˈbɛər, according to Wikipedia. His understudy is William Cavanaugh, who will be hosting The Late Show approximately one-third of the time. Good luck, Bill!
