BiographyMegan Park (born July 24, 1986) is a Canadian actress and director. Known for her films that explore coming of age and LGBTQ experiences, her accolades include nominations for an Independent Spirit Award, a Directors Guild of America Award, and a Writers Guild of America Award.
After starring in a number of television films as a teenager, Park gained recognition for starring as Grace Bowman in the ABC Family drama series The Secret Life of the American Teenager (2008–2013). She played recurring roles in The Neighbors (2012) and The Lottery (2014), alongside continued roles in a number of television films and Hallmark Channel projects.
In film, Park made her credited debut in the coming of age film Charlie Bartlett (2007) and had lead roles in the films A Cinderella Story: Once Upon a Song (2011), Guns, Girls and Gambling (2012), So Undercover (2012), and The F Word (2013), for which she received acclaim. After years of directing music videos (2012–2018) and short films (2017–2018), she received acclaim for her first two feature film directorial projects–the drama The Fallout (2021) and the coming of age fantasy My Old Ass (2024). Both films received festival awards, while the latter earned her nominations at the Directors Guild of America Awards and Writers Guild of America Awards.
In addition to acting, Park was briefly a member of the band Frank + Derol, and has also contributed to the soundtracks of some of her roles.
