Christopher Crowe
Crowe was born in Racine, Wisconsin, and graduated from William Horlick High School in 1967. In the mid-1970s, he was working for an East Coast magazine, but returned home to Racine. While working at his father's graphic arts company, he created the logo for the band Cheap Trick.
He has written the screenplays for The Last of the Mohicans, Nightmares, The Mean Season, Fear, and The Bone Collector He also wrote and directed Off Limits and Whispers in the Dark.
He created the television shows Seven Days, The Watcher, The Untouchables, H.E.L.P., B.L. Stryker, and B. J. and the Bear. He was also executive producer of the 1985 TV revival of Alfred Hitchcock Presents.
Crowe had his identity stolen by Christian Gerhartsreiter, the man who also claimed to be a descendant of the Rockefeller family, in the early 1990s; Gerhartsreiter claimed he had been the producer of Alfred Hitchcock Presents at one point and had legally changed his name to Christopher C. Crowe.

Murder Most Puzzling
When a strange murder takes place in the sleepy market town of Bakerbury. The local police are baffled by a crossword puzzle left on the body.
With their case going nowhere, they turn reluctantly to Cora Felton, a recent arrival in Bakerbury; whose fame as the eponymous Puzzle Lady suggests she can help DCI Hooper and the Bakerbury police solve its first murder case. But the eccentric Cora isn't who she claims to be, and as she throws herself into a murder case that has the town's residents baffled, she starts to gather allies and enemies in equal measure.
Cops
COPS follows police officers, constables, and sheriff's deputies during patrols and various police activities by embedding camera crews with their units. The show's formula adheres to a classic cinéma vérité ethos. With no narration or scripted dialog, it depends entirely on the commentary of the officers and on the actions of the people with whom they come into contact.
