From Texan to Tooty Frooties, Fruit Salads to Flying Saucers, Parma Violets to Pacers, Horror Bags to Hedgehog Crisps... and treats that didn't stand the test of time, like Candy Cigarettes. Unwrapping the secret stories behind our favourite sweets and snacks, we also relive rituals - from the best way to tackle a Sherbet Fountain to the dangers of a black tongue after too many Black Jacks. This edition focuses on the sweets and snacks we devoured in the 1970s. Talking heads include Anne Hegerty, Janet Ellis, John Sergeant, Anthea Turner and Christopher Biggins.

We travel back to the sweet shops of yesteryear to celebrate the tastes of our childhood. From Potato Puffs to Pacers, Ice Cream Chewits to Bubble Gum and Tooty Frooties to Texan Bars! Narrated by Hayley Tamaddon, and featuring Penny Smith, Mark Watson, Rustie Lee, Cheryl Baker and Sarah Cawood, this second episode focuses on the sweets and snacks that defined the 1980s, reminiscing about the likes of Woolworths pick 'n' mix, Flake adverts, the launch of the Wispa bar, Outer Spacers, and the Milky Bar Kid.

Middle child Gene is an aspiring musician with a thirst for life. Louise is the bunny ears-wearing youngest daughter with an off-kilter sense of humor that makes her somewhat of a liability in the kitchen – and with the public.
